Purpose & Scope
Alpha 1 Wellness publishes educational content about GLP-1 medications (semaglutide, tirzepatide), testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), hormone replacement therapy (HRT), and biomarker blood panels. Alpha 1 Wellness is a telehealth coordination platform and is not a pharmacy, medical practice, or laboratory. All clinical services are provided by independently licensed providers and partner pharmacies through OutfitMD. This policy governs how that educational content is created, reviewed, and maintained.
Sourcing Standards
Where clinical or pharmacological claims are made, Alpha 1 Wellness prioritizes:
- FDA-approved product labeling and prescribing information
- Peer-reviewed, published clinical studies
- Authoritative sources such as the FDA, NIH, and professional medical organizations
- Reference product documentation from the dispensing pharmacy
We do not cite anonymous health blogs when a primary medical source is available. Where a claim cannot be verified, it is removed or rewritten conservatively. We do not fabricate studies, citations, statistics, or clinical results.
Medical Review
Medically substantive pages are reviewed for clinical accuracy. Reviewer qualifications, where applicable, are disclosed on the relevant page. Compounded vs. FDA-Approved
Clinical outcomes described in published studies generally relate to FDA-approved products studied under specific protocols. Compounded formulations offered through this platform are not FDA-approved and have not been reviewed by FDA for safety, effectiveness, or manufacturing quality. Our content makes this distinction explicit and does not attribute branded-product trial results to compounded preparations.
Separation of Education & Marketing
Educational content is written to inform, not to promise outcomes. We do not claim guaranteed weight loss, guaranteed testosterone results, or disease treatment. Calls to action direct visitors to a medical eligibility evaluation performed by a licensed provider — they do not promise a prescription.
